House Fire

A house fire Tuesday (2/24) involved all available firefighting personnel in the township as well as assistance from Livonia and Plymouth. Twenty-one firefighters from Northville responded to the fire at 18070 Crestbrook about 8:45 a.m. They arrived to find heavy fire and smoke at the rear of a two-story residence. Crews gained entry and brought the fire under control in approximately 25 minutes. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No one was injured. (detnews.com)
This was the first major fire in the township for 2009.

When two runaway boxcars push an occupied car down train tracks in Northville Twp, a cop risks his life to stop the boxcars before they send the car crashing over a bridge. This segment was taken from Episode 119 which aired on February 13, 1990 on CBS.
