Welcome to the Northville Township Professional Fire Fighters Union, IAFF Local 3961 web site. Our Union Local was established on June 29, 1999 and has proudly represented the unionized firefighters of the Charter Township of Northville since that time. One of the purposes of this site is to inform the public about our Union, and the things we do. It will also allow us to provide information to our members on issues and events which affect them or that we are involved with, and a 'members only' section where they can access private information.

 In the future the site will include a page for our retired members, an electronic version of our newsletter, as well as a password-protected telephone and email list. We hope that users will find the site easy to use and we welcome your comments on how the site should or can be improved. 

Our Local is made up of 3 Lieutenants and 20 Firefighters. We work a 24/48 schedule and run out of one station that covers approximately 18 sq. miles. The NTFD is a BLS department that is transport capable.
