Northville Township Fire/Police Hockey Team

Northville Township’s firefighters and police officers competed in the annual Trenton firefighters charity hockey tournament on April 9th and 10th. The tournament consisted of round robin play of four teams in each division, with the top 2 teams competing for the division championship. Northville Township lost its first game to Southfield Firefighters 5-3. They won their second game against London Ontario Firefighters 4-0, and they tied their last game against Windsor Ontario Firefighters 3-3 (firefighter Hendrian had an unsuccessful breakaway in overtime). The team finished the tournament 1-1-1, and just missed playing for the division title.

Northville Township Professional Fire Fighters Donate $2,500 to MDA

FF Robert McAllister and FF Tommy Hughes recently visisted the MDA Clinic located in the Mind Center of Farmington HIlls, Michigan. The two firefighters personally handed MDA a check in the amount of $2,500. The donated amount was a portion of the money raised from the 2008 Fireman's Ball. FF McAllister and FF Hughes also took a tour of the clinic and spoke to a family about the value of MDA.
